After releasing his dancehall anthem “The Darkest Hype” in 2011, 24 year old London based Cadenza (or Oliver Rodigan) has pushed his production in a variety of directions. He teamed up with Donnis for a track on the Fool’s Gold rap compilation “Loosies” as well as releasing his forward thinking club track “Gyal Town” on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint. In 2012, the R’n’B prince of New York Ryan Leslie enlisted his services for the “Black Mozart” album on which Cadenza crafted two tracks.

In the past year, Oliver has been quietly at work in the studio producing for futuristic songstress TALA(Black Scorpio , Alchemy) as well as DJ’ing for Diplo’s Major Lazercollective which has taken him everywhere from Rio to Roskilde. His next solo release sees him return to the original roots reggae sound he was brought up on, teaming up with vocalist Kiko Bun to create something that could easily be from the vaults of Studio One whilst the flip side is a lethal collaboration with Interface & Kerwin Prescott from Jus Now which certainly won’t disappoint.
